Congress is working today to finish a final FAA bill, and one of the remaining issues is flight attendant hours of rest. TWU supports the House provision that would guarantee flight attendants 10 hours rest. But Senate Republicans currently are pressuring lawmakers to accept their weaker provision that would allow for just 9 hours of rest.

On Tuesday, we will encourage all TWU members to call their U.S. Senators and Representatives in Congress and ask that they co-sponsor a bill that supports TWU aircraft maintenance members – the Aircraft Maintenance Outsourcing Disclosure Act of 2018.
